Gong Lin was the brand founder of Lynn Gong, and she got her Ph.D awarded in the field of fashion and textile design technology. Her academic achievements were published in several international academic journals and conferences. Gong is adept at using her perception of fibre and yarns to transform and innovate in her garment design, starting with fabric creation. Besides, Gong is good at organizing forms, colours and simple lines to highlight the natural beauty of material and fashion. In September 2016, Gong set up her studio in Milan, Italy and made her debut with Lynn Gong at Milan Fashion Week in September of the same year. Lynn Gong believes that the image of women should be reflected by self-awareness and the expression of inner self, instead of needing to please others.
