TIPSY VISION

The independent designer brand TIPSY VISION will be established in Shanghai in the second half of 2020. TIPSY VISION aims to provide a more wearable and warm design for today's confused and unconfident youth, to soothe anxious souls and to give them more faith and courage in the face of an uncertain future. The brand's main focus is on remake, a way of breaking down the established facts of the past and reconstructing them into interesting new things through a certain pattern, in order to express the reconciliation of rational and emotional thinking with the self in today's society, to eliminate anxiety and fear, and to give more tolerance and hope. Since its inception, the brand has been showcased at Shanghai Fashion Week, Hainan Fashion Week, etc. Through the selection process, the brand has co-branded a show with Converse for two consecutive years, collaborated with the offline WORKSHOP event, and was entered into the Regal talent database.

ABOUT

DESIGNER

After finding out what he really wanted during his studies at his former university, KOKOYO (Wu Hao Yang) decided to drop out and start his life anew; in 2016 he enrolled at Donghua University to study Fashion Design. In 2020, he graduated from Donghua University with a degree in Fashion and Art Design (Sino-Japanese Cooperation) and from the Bunka Fashion Institute with a specialization in Fashion (Technical Specialization). In the same year, he founded the brand TIPSY VISION, and his debut season was featured in the official LABELHOOD show at Shanghai Fashion Week. Since 2021, he has been selected to manage the brand and has held three joint shows with Converse and Youngor at Shanghai Fashion Week, and an offline workshop with Converse. With a background in science and engineering, and having studied in DHU and Japan, KOKOKOYO has been influenced by his research on rational structure and emotional expression, remake and personalized emotion and sustainability.
